Overview
SRI International is an independent, nonprofit research center with experience in designing and conducting arts education research. Project support will enable SRI to create a follow-up report to the 2007 report "An Unfinished Canvas," commissioned by the Hewlett Foundation, which identified gaps in access to arts education in California’s K-12 public schools. The new study will be published in 2020, comparing data with the 2007 study, and include a new sub-report on county, community, and court schools in California.
