The Society for Conservation Biology is the leading scientific voice supporting conservation of biological diversity in the United States. This grant would support the society's work to develop scientifically sound climate adaptation strategies for western public lands, to provide scientific input on new national forest management rules affecting 190 million acres of public lands, and is the principal scientific resource for grantees supporting our western strategy.
