SFC collaborates with global partners to quantify impacts, identify solutions, and advocate logistics decarbonization strategies. (Substrategies: China National Policy and India National Policy)
for the Sustainable Freight Buyers Alliance and Zero Emission Freight Initiative
The Smart Freight Centre’s mission is to make the global freight and logistics sector more efficient, low carbon, and environmentally sustainable. Freight is a major contributor to climate change and reducing its emissions is now a focus of the electrification substrategy. The centre will implement a global strategy that includes working with private sector actors, shippers, and carriers in measuring emissions, and provide trainings to accelerate the procurement of zero-emission freight vehicles.
