The Sierra Club Foundation’s Beyond Coal Campaign is focused on reducing global warming emissions and other air pollutants by transitioning away from fossil-fired electricity and toward clean-energy in the United States. The campaign aims for a 100 percent clean electricity system by 2030 to improve air and water quality, protect land and wildlife, develop an efficient and resilient economy, and ensure that the U.S. meets and exceeds its international climate change commitments.

The Sierra Club Foundation promotes efforts to educate and empower people to protect and improve the natural and human environment. This grant will support the organization’s efforts to educate the public about America’s national public lands.
