Overview
SchoolHouse Connection is a national nonprofit organization working to overcome homelessness through education. Access to education, from early childhood through postsecondary, helps prepare students to end homelessness and achieve their dreams. Nationwide, there are more than 1.5 million public school students who were homeless at some point during the most recent school year, and the numbers continue to rise in current conditions. This grant provides flexible support to enable SchoolHouse to focus on the full education spectrum, including K-12.

This OE grant will enable SchoolHouse Connection to conduct a comprehensive assessment of their human resources infrastructure and to implement recommended amelioration across five human resource domains with the intention of improving the overall operating environment and staff experience.
