Overview
Save the Music Foundation supports local school districts in re-building their music education programs. It requires local leadership to demonstrate support for the project and commit funds for full-time music teachers. In return, Save the Music provides more than 200 musical instruments to each participating school, and 10 years of ongoing teacher professional development and metrics monitoring. Save the Music also assists with local fundraising efforts. Project support will allow Save the Music Foundation to conduct a district-wide rebuild of the elementary music education program in Pajaro Valley Unified School District, situated in both Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
