Overview
San Francisco Heritage’s mission is to preserve and enhance San Francisco’s unique architectural and cultural identity. For more than 45 years, the organization has been working to protect San Francisco’s history against waves of development and rapid change. Key activities include advocacy for the protection of historic resources; researching and surveying historic buildings and other assets; education programs; and tours and rental of the 1886 Haas-Lilienthal House, which serves as an exemplar of responsible historic stewardship.
