Overview
Social Impact Research ("SIR") is the research division of nonprofit consulting firm Root Cause. SIR has solidified a major partnership with the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund to research donors' behavior when they are presented with substantive information about social issues. This grant will support SIR's expenses running this research. In this project, SIR will systematically test donors' response to information about social issues. Importantly, evidence on which interventions have been shown to be the most effective will be at the center of the information presented to donors. The majority of the findings from this project will be made publicly available.
