Rockwood Leadership Institute

The Rockwood Leadership Institute provides leadership development programs and training for leaders in a variety of fields. The organization helps individuals and groups develop the skills, resilience, and capacity to create positive social and environmental impact. This Organizational Effectiveness grant will provide leadership training and support for a subset of Performing Arts Program grantees. Through a weeklong in-person training, Rockwood will provide training and development for staff of grantee organizations to improve their skills and establish lasting peer relationships that strengthen their leadership. Support for Rockwood Leadership institute advances the Performing Arts Program’s Communities strategy.

This renewal grant will enable the Rockwood Leadership Institute to build on a previous workshop for transparency leaders in Mexico. Rockwood will translate new material and adapt different modules from their flagship Art of Leadership workshop to develop a two-day workshop for grantee organizations in Mexico. This will address issues of high turnover and burnout, and strengthen collective action.
