Climate Nexus seeks to change the conversation on climate to inspire, inform, and elevate constructive and equitable action. The passage of ambitious federal climate legislation in the U.S. presents new opportunities to tell the story of American climate leadership, to inspire other countries to reduce emissions and build climate-resilient infrastructure. This grant supports work to inform world leaders of new binding climate policies and investments in the U.S., as well as to educate U.S. policymakers of America’s national interests in investing in clean energy across the developing world. The work will support new and strengthened capacity to reach audiences through broadcast journalism. (Substrategy: U.S. National Policy)
