Overview
Further Together, an initiative of the Rocky Mountain Institute, enables leaders of environmental groups, business coalitions, and in academia who are addressing the climate crisis to collaborate across diverse change models and geographies. The initiative helps leaders, as they manage their own institutions, to better understand how their work fits into the ecosystem of other global actors, facilitating coordination, collaboration, and identification of gaps and needs. This grant supports planning for the joint work, including organizing, preparing for, and facilitating meetings of the group, as well as supporting deep dives into key topics raised in these convenings. The organization has launched the Accelerating Clean Regional Economies initiative, focused in the Great Lakes region, to work with economic development organizations, policymakers, business, labor, and community stakeholders to support green growth investment strategies and the policy frameworks needed to accelerate them.
