Overview
Rise is a national civil rights nonprofit that educates the public regarding the problem of sexual assault. It facilitates public discussion regarding the societal problems of sexual assault and rape culture and engages and trains hundreds of young people worldwide. Currently, Rise is active in 47 states and four countries: the United States, Japan, Canada, and Jordan. The organization’s growth and impact has led it to be recognized by New York magazine as one of the best things that happened in 2016 and by the Washington Post as one of the top charities in America to donate to. This support will allow them to continue their work and ongoing efforts.
