Overview
Rhythmix Cultural Works, located on Alameda Island, is an active cultural center where locals experience performances and pursue creative interests that promote their cultural awareness. Each year the organization presents nearly 100 performing arts events, visual arts exhibitions, classes, and workshops for nearly 10,000 children and adults. Its 5,000-square-foot facility features a large multipurpose performance space and several classrooms that are frequently used by other organizations and community members seeking a family-friendly gathering space. Renewed funding will help Rhythmix Cultural Works continue to provide affordable arts experiences year-round, as well as create a development plan that will support its goals for incremental and sustainable growth.
