Overview
Renewed general support for ReThink Media would serve the entire nuclear security community in the ongoing effort to shape the media discourse on nuclear policy. As with many policy areas, news coverage, commentary, and social media together set the terms of debate and thus the range of options being weighed by policymakers. The fragmentation of the media market and emergence of new media requires those involved in policy debates to be more active and sophisticated in getting their messages out. By providing additional communications capacity to many Nuclear Security Initiative grantees, ReThink Media increases their effectiveness.
