This general support grant to the Resources Legacy Fund would support its work in California, Oregon, and Washington to conserve land and water resources and promote new conservation finance opportunities. Three of the highest priorities for the Fund are: (a) improving and expanding California’s state parks system to meet the diverse cultural and ecological needs of the state, (b) ensuring California adopts new water policies that provide for the needs of agriculture and city residents and protect fragile watersheds, and (c) identifying opportunities in Oregon and Washington to increase the amount of public funding for habitat protection and restoration.
