Overview
Redfish Metrics is an Idaho-based limited liability company that provides professional consulting and research in the areas of data visualization, statistical modeling, and philanthropy. The purpose of this grant is to examine the public communication of data related to COVID-19 across multiple levels of public and private entities to help provide answers to urgent political, legal, and practical questions. This research will seek to uncover best practices for visualization of public health-related data. It will also seek to understand how future public data communication can be better protected from politicization. Results from this research will be used to craft suggestions for how law, public policy, and public data presentation can be shaped to better prepare for future public health crises.
