Overview
The Public Policy Institute of California provides the public and decision makers with timely and scientifically sound information and policy recommendations on issues affecting California and the West. This grant will support the Institute’s Water Policy Center and its goal of providing policy recommendations to the public and state and federal decision makers on actions that can be taken to improve water policy in the face of the current drought.

Founded with an endowment from William R. Hewlett in 1994, the Public Policy Institute of California is dedicated to informing and improving public policy in California through nonpartisan polling and policy research, coupled with active outreach and dissemination. In 2011, the institute began hosting a Speaker Series on California’s Future. This grant will provide support for the Speaker Series events over the next three years.
