This grant will support continuing revitalization of the project’s well-regarded bipartisan Congressional Oversight Training program, which educates congressional staff on how to help the members they are serving plan and carry out more effective oversight activities. The project seeks to bolster this critical function of Congress and in so doing redress the ideologically driven oversight that is both a symptom and increasingly a cause of political polarization.
