The POPVOX Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, founded in 2021 with a mission “to inform and empower people and make government work better for everyone.” This includes reimagining the concept of “civic infrastructure” and providing new ways for government to share information and engage the public, with an emphasis on diverse participation and rebuilding public trust. POPVOX Foundation is especially active on Capitol Hill, convening innovators from within and outside Capitol Hill focused on technology, science, and data research and resources for Congress. It also works with Congress to provide tools, training, and support for current members and staff and to ensure a diverse and talented pipeline for the future.

The POPVOX Foundation works to inform and empower people and make government work better for everyone. This includes re-imagining the concept of "civic infrastructure" and providing new ways for government, especially Congress and the federal executive branch, to share information and engage the public, with an emphasis on diverse participation and rebuilding public trust. This expenditure responsibility grant will support the G21C (Governing for the 21st Century) project to help the legislative and executive branches expand capacity to interact with the public and leverage modern technology and processes to keep pace with an increasingly complex and rapidly changing society.
