Overview
This grant will support the efforts of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) to advocate for Peace Corps volunteers and/or trainees to have coverage for abortion services in cases of rape, incest, and life endangerment. PPFA will recruit and train returned Peace Corps volunteers to serve as spokespeople for this campaign. The campaign will bring coverage for Peace Corps volunteers in line with the what women in the U.S. military currently receive.

for support of Planned Parenthood Federation of America's international program
Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s international program, Planned Parenthood Global, provides funding and technical assistance for reproductive health advocacy, education, and services through partnerships with nongovernmental organizations in sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. This grant will support Planned Parenthood Global’s efforts to develop the capacity of these partners to advocate for better reproductive health policies, particularly in East and West Africa. It is aligned with the Global Reproductive Equity strategy.
