Overview
Promoting the use and adoption of high-quality instructional materials aligned with the Common Core and deeper learning is a core strategy of the Education Program. EdReports, which increases the capacity of educators to select the highest-quality Common Core-aligned instructional materials, will partner with Pivot Learning Partners, which works with education leaders to strengthen teaching and learning; to promote the adoption, use, and development of high-quality instructional materials and related teacher professional development; and to establish proof points for successful curriculum adoption in California.

Pivot Learning works with schools and school districts to design and implement solutions to achieve educational justice for all students. Pivot works with school systems to provide proactive support for students based on their learning and social and emotional needs, so all students have the opportunity to succeed. This is a general operating support grant. (Substrategy: District Deep Dives and Networks)

Pivot Learning Partner’s mission is to partner with educators to design and implement solutions to their greatest challenges to achieve educational justice. Their belief is that in order to achieve real improvement in student outcomes, they must collaborate with educators to design agile solutions, measure their effectiveness and potential for sustainability and scalability, and deploy them. This grant will support the development of a revised strategic business development plan.
