Overview
Philanthropic Ventures Foundation (PVF) funds organizations and projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and worldwide. PVF established a Cooley Landing Fund to support the completion of the Cooley Landing Project, which will ensure that a 9-acre former landfill site is converted into a community park. East Palo Alto currently has 16 acres of parks, which is only one-sixth the California statewide goal of 3 acres per 1,000 residents. Completion of the Cooley Landing project will increase the city of East Palo Alto's total park space by 56 percent.
