Partners in Population and Development

The grant will enable Partners in Population and Development’s Africa Regional Office (PPD ARO) to continue to strengthen the capacity of African policymakers to ensure family planning and reproductive health are prioritized in policy and budgeting processes. PPD ARO will work toward four intermediate outcomes: increased knowledge of the links between family planning, reproductive health, and development by policymakers; increased funding for family planning and reproductive health by national governments and international donors; improved accountability for family planning and reproductive health commitments by African countries; and expanded cooperation and sharing of best practices among developing country governments.
