Grants to this Grantee
for support to Oxfam West Africa’s project enhancing women’s participation in extractives governance
Oxfam West Africa is a global organization seeking to combat inequality by mobilizing extractive industry revenues toward social spending. This grant aims to ensure that women and other marginalized groups are able to participate, influence, and have equal voice in decision making about how extractive industry revenues are reported, managed, and used in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, and Senegal. This grant will particularly focus on strengthening the advocacy efforts to push for 30% of development funds from extractive sector revenue to benefit the development and rights of women and girls. (Strategy: Inclusive Governance)
