Overview
This proposed project is to support the Open Courseware Consortium in establishing legal best practices for OER content repositories to leverage Internet cloud based platforms. This project will bring in legal experts to understand and document issues and solutions to indemnity and liability challenges as they relate to OER in commercial cloud platforms.

for supporting culturally responsive instructional reform in California Community Colleges
Open Education Global leads a consortium of North American community colleges called CCCOER in advancing open education to ensure equitable, inclusive, and meaningful learning experiences. With College of the Canyons, CCCOER will undertake a two-year program to support California Community Colleges in culturally responsive teaching practices through the use of OER and open pedagogy. Participating faculty will engage in a two-semester online program to learn and implement best practices for using open pedagogy to achieve inclusive classroom experiences. Faculty, students, and administrators will participate in the evaluation of the program impact. (Substrategy: Sustainable Systems)
