Grants to this Grantee
for supporting anti-racist instructional reform in California community colleges
Open Education Global, leads a U.S. consortium of community colleges (CCCOER) in advancing open education to ensure equitable, inclusive, and meaningful learning for every student. With this grant, CCCOER and partners will pilot a program to support faculty and students at 10 California Community Colleges to explore how the affordances of OER and open pedagogy can promote anti-racist teaching and learning. Through a facilitated online course, faculty and students will co-create and evaluate anti-racist content and practices and examine how these approaches affect engagement and learning outcomes for traditionally underserved students.
