Showcasing professional, emerging, and mid-career artists and ensembles in an acoustically superb setting, Old First Concerts provides artists with a unique opportunity to create their own performance repertory. The organization presents a diverse array of modestly priced contemporary and classical chamber, jazz, and world music performances. Old First Concerts’ year-round calendar of more than 60 concerts, performed by 300 artists, reaches more than 5,000 audience members each year in San Francisco.

Old First Concerts presents classical chamber music concerts at modest prices, showcasing emerging and established artists, and providing them with the opportunity to create their own performance repertoire. Diversity in Old First's programming has expanded in recent years to include contemporary, jazz, and world music; in 2011, Old First will present its first hip-hop opera. Its year-round calendar of events presented at Old First Church consists of more than sixty concerts performed by 250 artists, attracting more than 6,000 audience members annually.
