Overview
Oberlin Dance Collective (ODC) has spent the past forty years building a highly reputable and innovative dance organization in the Mission District of San Francisco, comprised of a contemporary dance company, a theater/presenting entity, and a school. Creating access to art-making for more than 16,000 students and 50,000 Bay Area audience members annually, ODC reopened its newly-renovated theater space in October 2010 on its two-building campus. As a major dance and art-making resource in the Bay Area, the organization is now at a critical juncture in its lifecyle. This deep-dive strategic planning process will help implement an integrated approach to programs and facility challenges, succession planning, and communications and marketing in order to position this highly-successful organization for another forty years of exemplary work.
