Overview
Clean energy development, combined with energy efficiency, is the healthiest and most efficient way to meet high and rapidly-growing energy demands. This development also increases energy access and energy security, while limiting impacts on human health and the environment, and curbing greenhouse gas emissions to avoid the worst effects of climate change. Support for NRDC’s international program will expand on existing work to develop a global clean energy economy by boosting reliance on energy efficiency and solar and wind power.
