The purpose of this grant is to build capacity among national and regional environmental groups on federal power laws and improve how these groups engage with state, regional and national energy regulators. Through this grant, the Sustainable FERC project will hire a nationally recognized expert, Scott Hempling, on federal and state energy laws to help advise and mentor other core grantees.
