Overview
Siting renewable energy projects on Western public lands and developing the transmission lines needed to move solar and wind energy to markets is a complex and challenging task. The Council would work with other conservation interests, the renewable energy industry, and transmission developers to ensure the timely approval and construction of renewable energy projects and transmission lines in appropriate places in the West.
