Overview
New Visions for Public Schools works with a network of district and charter schools to ensure that New York City public school students, regardless of race or economic class, have access to a high-quality education that prepares them for the rigors of college and the workforce. New Visions will test whether a set of digital tools can help teachers create, distribute, and provide feedback on written assignments more efficiently and also test if that feedback improves student outcomes. This project seeks to increase understanding of how assessment informs improvements in practice, which is a key question regarding the scale of deeper learning.
