Overview
The National Trust for Historic Preservation protects significant places representing our diverse cultural experience by taking direct action and inspiring broad public support. Their newly created African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund will work to draw attention to the remarkable, and still largely unrecognized, collection of places and stories that exist regarding centuries of African American activism, achievement, and community. Hewlett’s support to the fund will further the organization’s vision of and work towards a stronger and more united country where we can all see our stories in the places that surround us.
