The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) works on behalf of children and adults with learning and attention difference. NCLD seeks to create a society in which every individual possesses the academic, social and emotional skills needed to succeed in school, at work and in life. This grant will support strategic planning, including areas of race, diversity and equity.

The National Center for Learning Disabilities works to transform teaching and learning practices to better support individuals with learning differences. The center is currently undertaking a multiyear research project to help ensure students with disabilities have opportunities to engage in deeper learning. With this grant, the center will develop digital and print materials of the identified best practices and policies and then, in an effort to increase distribution and amplify awareness, create tools for schools and networks interested in implementing them.
