The National Abortion Federation (NAF), a professional organization of abortion providers in the United States, provides accreditation and educational and security programs for health care professionals, including continuing medical education, clinical policy guidelines, and security training and support. NAF’s priorities comprise protecting abortion providers from violence and harassment; a quality-assessment program that evaluates member facilities for compliance with rigorous standards for abortion care; and the production of accurate scientific information about abortion.
