Overview
Montalvo Association is a multi-disciplinary arts center housed on the grounds of a 100-year-old villa listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its 16 stand-alone buildings, including a 1,400-seat amphitheater and artist residencies, are surrounded by 175 acres of park grounds and gardens. Each year, 20,000 people visit Montalvo to attend concerts and theater performances; view the works of local, national, and international visual artists on its grounds and in its gallery; and participate in educational programs. Renewed funding will support Montalvo Association’s goals to provide more than 140 events each year, undertake unique artistic initiatives, and make progress toward its Fund for the Future Campaign goal of $50 million.
