Overview
The Michigan Public Health Association is the fiscal sponsor for a new state coalition of more than thirty health organizations working on education and advocacy in support of policies to clean up energy supplies, slow global warming, and improve a range of health impacts caused by dirty air. These health groups are coordinating with environmental, business, civil rights, and religious groups in Michigan to support increased renewable energy and broaden the base of support for climate solutions.
