Overview
Focused on Jewish resistance during the Holocaust, this feature documentary, along with a website, social media, and educational materials, is designed to correct a dominant narrative of the Holocaust that Jewish victims went to their deaths “like sheep to the slaughter.” To the contrary, there were multiple armed rebellions in ghettos and concentration camps and countless examples of unarmed resistance. A dynamic blend of archeology and history, this film will shine a light on lost chapters of the past and correct false narratives. The filmmakers' goal is to change attitudes, educate young people on the Holocaust, and reveal how nonviolent methods came to be seen as crucial tools of resistance.
