Overview
Kuumbwa Jazz provides locals and visitors in the Santa Cruz area opportunities to experience jazz through live performances and education. Each year, the organization presents more than 120 performances for more than 44,000 people. In addition, Kuumbwa offers age-appropriate jazz education to more than 550 school children across Santa Cruz County; a summer jazz camp that serves more than 70 young musicians; and intensive jazz education, master classes, and community engagement for people of all ages. Support for Kuumbwa Jazz advances the Performing Arts Program’s Communities strategy.
