Overview
San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, recently rebranded as the Jewish Film Institute, uses film to explore the diversity of Jewish life. Best known for its annual summer festival that attracts 30,000 people to venues throughout the Bay Area, the organization also delivers a suite of year-round programs that target young adults, seniors, and filmmakers. Online programs, including a new on-demand partnership with Vimeo, reach 100,000 people annually. Renewed funding will support the organization’s ability to keep pace with the rapid changes in film and media consumption, and continue to develop its Next Wave programs for young adults.
