Overview
The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival uses film to explore the diversity of the Jewish people. Best known for its annual summer festival that attracts 30,000 people to more than sixty films in seven Bay Area venues, the organization also delivers year-round programs that target young adult filmmakers and seniors. A grant to this organization, under new leadership, would enable it to (1) expand its year-round programs for a younger, larger audience by partnering with the Contemporary Jewish Museum and The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life and (2) create a business plan for distributing its film archive online.
