Grants to this Grantee
for support of applying behavioral insights to improve FPRH services in rural Uganda
This grant will extend IntraHealth Internationals partnership with Behavioral Ideas Lab (ideas42) and the Ugandan Ministry of Health to implement the Scale-up and Capacity-Building project that aims to improve the uptake of family planning and reproductive health (FPRH) services in the eastern region. The project will implement a male engagement intervention, informed by behavioral science, to transform gender norms, increase family planning uptake, and test it against a standard social and behavior change intervention. The partnership also equips IntraHealth staff in East Africa to understand and utilize behavioral science methods to strengthen the quality and utilization of family planning services across the subregion.
for support of applying behavioral insights to improve family planning reproductive health services
This supplement grant will further IntraHealths partnership with Behavioral Ideas Lab (ideas42) to increase its organizational capacity to understand and utilize behavioral science theory and methodology. Through this collaboration, Intrahealth staff in East Africa participate in a series of experiential learning workshops and apply new behavioral science knowledge, skills, and tools to advance the uptake of reproductive health services in the subregion.
