Overview
This grant to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) will support a project to improve humanitarian coordination for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) in emergencies, realize the Global Health Cluster’s localization strategy, and accelerate progress on reproductive rights in crisis-affected areas of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. IRC is a global leader working at the humanitarian-development intersection, with a strong regional presence in Francophone West Africa. Given the growing number of humanitarian crises in the region, this grant represents an opportunity for Hewlett to begin engaging more directly with the humanitarian sector and how it supports women's sexual and reproductive health needs in crisis. This grant is aligned with the Global Reproductive Equity strategy.
