Overview
Intelligent Television produces free educational materials in association with universities and cultural and educational institutions, and it advances research and advocacy on sharing knowledge and open licenses. This grant will help make MIT Open CourseWare more freely available; course assets will be licensed as CC BY, so materials can be published and distributed more broadly. This project also will provide detailed guidelines for educational institutions publishing free materials under open licenses and will convene a public symposium in 2019 on the modern imperative to share university-produced knowledge.
