Overview
The Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad (IMCO) is a nonpartisan think tank specializing in policy analysis and evidence-based advocacy to improve Mexico’s institutional framework for economic growth, as well as increasing government transparency and accountability. With this grant, IMCO would develop an agenda focused on a more transparent, open, and responsive government with projects in the areas of corruption and impunity; public contracting and finance; transparency; education; and economic competitiveness. IMCO would continue to produce competitiveness and budgetary information indices at the national and subnational levels, including a new index on corruption and impunity.
