Overview
This grant would support the Idaho Conservation League’s efforts to protect public land and to reduce the impacts of fossil energy development. Priorities for the grant period include securing one new national monument; crafting a wilderness agreement with timber interests, sportsmen, and local officials in northern Idaho; building support for renewables and efficiency; and opposing proposals to transport coal from the Powder River Basin by rail, through Idaho, for shipment overseas.
