Ibis Reproductive Health

For General Operating Support

Overview
Ibis Reproductive Health is a research organization founded in 2002 to improve women’s reproductive health worldwide, serving as a bridge between research and advocacy. Ibis takes on rigorous research on topics that are controversial or otherwise neglected in the reproductive health world, such as its project on allowing oral contraceptives to be dispensed over-the-counter through pharmacies and other sites without prescriptions. This grant would provide support for a range of clinical and social science research by Ibis aimed at informing policies and practices that support reproductive health and rights, and for communication of these findings to policymakers, advocates, and other stakeholders.
