Overview
HomeBase (San Francisco, CA) is a nonprofit public policy law firm located in San Francisco whose mission is to end homelessness, prevent its recurrence, and decrease its impact on communities. In its 20 plus years of work, HomeBase has regranted funds and provided technical assistance to organizations preventing homelessness in the Bay Area and Central Valley, primarily through serving as a local intermediary for HUD. The organization will provide re-grants and technical assistance to five to seven organizations focused on housing instability and homelessness. HomeBase anticipated that organizational development will consist of goals in three principal areas: program design, implementation, and evaluation; fundraising and financial management, and human resources and inter-agency collaboration.
