For Support Of The Lancet Commission On Sexual And Reproductive Health And Rights

This grant will support the Guttmacher Institute to convene a Lancet Commission to articulate an agenda for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). In collaboration with a Southern co-chair and about fifteen experts, the Commission will review the evidence, assess gaps, identify key priorities for the future, and issue a concise set of policy recommendations aimed at national governments, multilateral agencies, and other decision-makers.

The Guttmacher Institute conducts scientific inquiry to produce policy-relevant research on key issues relating to sexual and reproductive health. The institute continues to build the evidence for policy changes that promote sexual and reproductive health, and carry out a program of social science research, policy analysis, and public education.
