The Guttmacher Institute, a leading voice in the field of sexual and reproductive health for over forty years, has earned a reputation for its unbiased scientific inquiry and evidence-based approach. Its steady stream of essential, policy-relevant information on key issues is routinely cited by policymakers, government agencies, health professionals, the media, and other advocacy organizations. In recent years, the Institute has developed a new capacity to rapidly respond to inaccurate or problematic media coverage of reproductive health issues. This unrestricted grant would enable the Institute to continue its research activities to build the evidence needed to drive policy changes and carry out an interrelated program of social science research, policy analysis, and public education to promote sound sexual and reproductive health policies.
